TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by The Closet Concierge (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”).
By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

 

1. SERVICES

The Closet Concierge provides wardrobe organisation services, which may include:
• Photographing client garments
• Creating a personalised digital wardrobe document
• Physically organising wardrobe spaces
• Curating outfit pairings and lookbooks
• Providing wardrobe planning and organisational recommendations

Services will be delivered as outlined in your selected package or as otherwise agreed in writing.

 

2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:
• Ensure garments are clean, dry and steamed/ironed if required, prior to your appointment
• Provide safe and reasonable access to wardrobe areas
• Remove any items requiring special handling and notify us of any fragile or valuable items
• Ensure a safe working environment
We reserve the right to pause or refuse services if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

 

3. PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGE USE

3.1 Ownership
All photographs taken by The Closet Concierge remain the intellectual property and copyright of The Closet Concierge.
3.2 Client Licence
You are granted a personal, non‑commercial licence to use the images within your digital wardrobe for personal use only.
You may not sell, distribute, or commercially reproduce the images.
3.3 Marketing Use
We will never use images of your wardrobe, garments, or home for marketing without your explicit written consent.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

 

4. DIGITAL WARDROBE DELIVERY

Your digital wardrobe will be delivered electronically.
It is your responsibility to download and store your files safely.
The Closet Concierge is not responsible for file loss after delivery.

 

5. PHYSICAL WARDROBE ORGANISATION

Should you engage our Closet Organisation service, you acknowledge that:
• Your wardrobe layout will be physically altered
• Organisation decisions are based on professional judgement and efficiency
• Maintenance of the wardrobe following the service is your responsibility

We do not guarantee ongoing organisation after service completion.

 

6. STYLING AND LOOKBOOK DISCLAIMER

Outfit pairings, styling suggestions, and lookbooks are provided as recommendations only.
Personal taste and preferences vary, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.

 

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We take the utmost care when handling garments. However, The Closet Concierge is not liable for:
• Pre‑existing damage
• Normal wear and tear
• Hidden weaknesses in fabrics
• Loss or damage outside our reasonable control

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

 

8. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

We treat all client information, wardrobe details, and home environments as strictly confidential.
We will never share or disclose client information without consent unless required by law.

 

9. ACCESS TO PREMISES

By booking, you grant permission for The Closet Concierge to enter your home for the sole purpose of delivering agreed services.
We will respect your space and privacy at all times.

 

10. FEES AND PAYMENT

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to secure your service, with the remainder due prior to delivery of your Digital Wardrobe files. Files will not be sent to the client until full payment has been received.

 

11. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

We require at least 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a booking.
Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of your deposit.
We reserve the right to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control.

 

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All digital wardrobe templates, systems, and documents remain the intellectual property of The Closet Concierge.
They are licensed for your personal use only.

 

13. RESULTS DISCLAIMER

While our services are designed to improve wardrobe organisation and usability, we do not guarantee specific personal, emotional, or styling outcomes.

 

14. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services without refund of fees where:
• Conditions are unsafe
• There is inappropriate behaviour
• These Terms and Conditions are breached

 

15. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including:
• Illness
• Natural disasters
• Emergencies
• Government restrictions

 

16. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
